Thank you for your wonderful newsletter! After the election I cancelled my NYT subscription and others because I didn’t/couldn’t begin every day with Trump and republican evil actions. But I had to keep reading your newsletter (and Heather Cox Richardson’s)! It is wise, interesting, informative, and nuanced. I look forward to reading it.
Excellent, thank you for these sentiments. I find myself right on your wavelength, gratifying in these troubling times. It's so important to let others lift us up when we get down or discouraged and then return the favor. I so agree about comments. They may be an extra bother possibly to monitor for trolls, but we seem to handle this and don't have much.. fighting with the truth. Aaron your work is exceptionally valuable and treacherous given that you expose yourself to the worst of mankind. I don't have trouble saying this because they show themselves blatantly in our collective face. Trump is out on the gangplank and is going for it now with what he insists is a mandate, We have to say and show it is NOT.
But we must take this holiday to be thankful.. for so much personally and by and large for how far we have come as a country able to enjoy our freedoms. Part of that is to partake here. I celebrate that! Discussion and the virtual community this forms is such a plus. Be safe and well...Thank you.
