Bondi being fired was not for her many crimes and abuses of power she committed in office, it was because she failed in the missions Trump gave her:
Put his political opponents in jail.
Make the Epstein files go away.
Stop the courts from stopping him doing everything he wants to do, such as build his ballroom.
The good news is, her replacement will probably be even more incompetent in these tasks, because to be clear, Bondi was actually reasonably competent, but was given impossible tasks.
With the FBI gutted by her (per Trump's vendetta), and the DoJ lawyers leaving in droves, (because of the orders from above, that came from Trump), she had fewer, and far less competent people to do what was demanded of her.
Eventually Trump will get to the stage of ignoring the courts. We can guess as to his reasons (Putin's puppet, Dictator wannabe, Dementia...) but the path is on will get there. Her replacement is simply part of that path. We will then see how people react.

All the rest belongs to everyone else. Some crossover, for instance Miller wanted mass deportations, and Trump wanted to use ICE and Border patrol for his 'military' takeover of 'Blue' cities, to brutalize them into submission, because Trump is by nature a bully.
Hegseth simply wants to be seen as powerful and to make the military in his own image, full of hate and violence and where he, due to being a middle aged white straight male in decent physical condition, is the ultimate choice to lead our super powerful military. He just wants to play with his toys, showing them off. His understanding of 'competence' is as handicapped as Trump's.
You get a fair mix of those who are simply corrupt, those who seek power, those who serve the rich and powerful (perhaps because they are already rich), and those like Miller who are just plain evil personified.
Mostly his handlers just flatter Trump, having found that you can never give him too much praise. There is no praise Trump will find 'over the top' or obscene. If you phrase your suggestions to him in terms of how wonderful he is, he is MUCH more likely to go along with it.
I think Trump has figured out that his best speeches come from Miller. That Miller really understands 'power'. That Miller is smart and wants to keep Trump in power (where he feels protected). Miller gets the MAGA movement hatred of immigrants, which Trump knows was his key into politics. So Trump trusts Miller.
