Something confuses me. I understand, though do not agree, that Citizen's United says that political donations are a form of "free speech." But aren't there rules about how you can spend those? Does running for office let a candidate pay the attorney fees not only of himself but of witnesses he wants to keep "loyal" for things that have nothing to do with his current campaign?
I’m guessing the meeting in the bushes was caught on a neighbor’s security camera. The exact times in the legal documents are the giveaway: right off of a camera recording.
