After her unwavering acts of fealty to Boss Trump, Judge Cannon should be a shoo-in for his next SCOTUS appointment. And she can expect much more than a luxury motor home for her loyalty.
Trump's lack of respect for institutions allows him and his team to act in a cavalier manner in the courtroom. This is not unexpected. The sad part is how the conservative legal community has fostered partisans on the bench who will run cover for him even if it means undermining judicial integrity and temperament.
At the debate tomorrow, will we again hear Trump say, “Standback, and standby!” Or this time will it be, “Lock and Load!”? Or both?
As POTUS, Trump became experienced at sending troops to their death. Presently Trump wouldn’t blink at causing the death of jurors, or FBI agents, via his well honed practice of stochastic terrorist speech. Nor would the megadonors who are coming out from under the refrigerator with the quid pro quo donations Boss Trump openly solicited from them.
What the heck is “an indecorous tone”? Is it the incredulous response by a prosecutor who questions a judge about her ongoing protection of the man who appointed her to the bench? Or perhaps her ongoing contempt for anyone who might suggest that Trump is a threat to honest folks who are integral to the prosecution’s case? Or that she’s really biased and hides behind her robes to cover up her inability to manage the case without showing prejudice on behalf of the defendant? She needs to be replaced in this case even if it delays it.
If it walks like a duck has never been more applicable . Were any other regular person to pull any one of the thousands of those improprieties they’d have been in jail years ago… but it’s been a hellacious ride since the get go , everyone knows that! How malleable words can become is the mastery of manipulation which showed purposed malicious intent from the day he ridiculed the disabled.
And that was the day it all became empirically evil.

The editor also questioned the motives of the two fellow judges who recommended to her that maybe she should pass the case to a judge with more experience. So maybe that recommendation hurt her feelings. Poor Aileen. Grow up!
I read an editorial from WSJ about judge cannon and her handling of the case. It actually criticized jack smith and claimed he has made multiple errors in the motions he has filed and how he has argued them. So according to WSJ all this is HIS fault. No bias there, but it was an editorial.
Just thinking: What if CNN pinged or showed a symbol like ‘*' every time a statement that was legally/whatever not true was made? Like tfg-cf won 2020. These statements "NOT true according to current facts” would be discussed after the debate, drawing viewers to their after-debate program. I realize the imperfections of this idea. Criticism of what’s a lie; Biden for small things; tfg for not enough. Can someone fix it? Has something like this ever happened?
