I'm thinking that the legallly qualified people who supported these ridiculously flimsy charges out to be up for some sort of disciplinary action by the professional legal bodies. But I'm no lawyer.

It seems pretty plain that the election wave is such that no amount of screaming and obsfucating is going to seem credible to anyone but the hardened members of the Trump cult. But given how central democracy is to what the US is supposed to be about, this frontal assault on the workings and necessary public acceptance of the democratic process is tantamount to treason. These people only 'love America' as long as they are in charge. They are no patriots and should be told so.

PN always does great work but this is especially helpful. Thanks folks.

Amen Philip. I love the substack format and support a lot of them, so many that I might be trimming my expenditure shortly. I wouldn't even consider cutting PN and would pay up if the price was increased. I'm not as interested in the legal stuff Liz does but I still regularly learn worthwhile stuff her that I would never get anywhere else. Aaron, if you're reading. You founded an absolute ripper!

I look forward to seeing every single lawsuit brought by this corrupt DOJ tossed out by whichever court it appears before- and the more rebukes from the courts, the better! It is past time to shut down this corrupt administration and return to the time of elections being decided by the votes of US- the citizens of the United States, not declared legal or illegal by Trump, based on party affiliation.

I fervently hope that any election workers in CA who received thumb drives from the feds scanned them for malware and viruses before inserting them into *any* computers.

If a science fiction author had written a story about our current events being the result of a physics accident at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory & Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), sending the entire planet into an alternate universe, it wouldn’t sell because critics would say that it is too outlandish. As for me, I don’t have the scientific expertise to return to my universe.
