Thank you, Mr. Lurie, for this unequivocal and sober report on the absolute disaster that is Trump's Ärt of the Deal".

You pulled no punches in your analysis. One wonders if the damage is insurmountable or if America will find an administration to rectify the Trump catastrophe.

Trump didn’t even know there was a game.

Can we talk about the felon's cognitive state. The top picture shows that the lights are on but nobody's home.

Apparently Trump is unaware of or unconcerned with anything except himself and how he and his family can grift worldwide. Damn Congress for letting this catastrophic damage to our country continue unabated.

As to Taiwan … Take warning: Trump betrayed the Kurds to placate Erdogan, a far lesser power.

It should come as no surprise that the doddering, demented lunatic embarked on his fool's errand to China without a strategy. That's how he rolls. Hell, he had no strategy when he imposed tariffs on the world without taking a moment to realize that the American consumers would be harmed the most by them. Who knew? The result: higher prices.

With not one scintilla of forethought, he capriciously decided to start a war with Iran that resulted in them seizing the Strait of Hormuz, thereby choking off about 25% of the world's supply of oil. Who knew? Result: higher prices.

Oh, wait a minute. I just remembered what the ignoramus said last week: "I don't think about America's financial situation. I don't think about anybody."

At last, he finally said out loud what we all already knew. He just handed the Dems a gift served on one of his tacky gold-plated silver platters. I predict that those words will come back to haunt him.

Xi did something he hasn't done before: He didn't wait, but started the summit with a threat, and one harsher than ever, and he gave Trump no room to save face.

There was not a single "old China hand" to translate the import to Trump, only businessmen who wanted to do more business with China. Translation: Xi's dragon roar was to distract from the fact that China is not yet ready to take Taiwan, while putting its usual pressure on the U.S. to stop further arms sales to Taiwan.

Trump is the global bad guy now. China is not, having been investing and building infrastructure for years around the world, especially in Africa, where Trump pulled out USAid. China's LiuGong earthmovers are in Tehran clearing rubble from U.S. bombings. Why would China risk its rising power and more stable image by invading Taiwan now?

Most important, China has its best leverage by threatening to invade Taiwan, not by doing it. But Trump has never understood strategy or the cards that America has. If he weren't such a greedy, stupid, traitorous fool, he'd proceed to sell those arms to Taiwan while praising the people of China for their glorious display of hospitality. He'd hail the auspicious times ahead for the relationship. And he'd find a prominent place in his "Rose Garden Club" to plant the rosebush seeds that Xi is sending him. Post lots of pictures of the blooms.

Brave Donald Trump, world conqueror, rolls over for a nice belly rub … nasty old Xi obligeth not.

In every picture I see of trump with Xi, he looks dumbstruck, befuddled, lost. Not just " has no cards."

Thanks to Trump (and his enabling co-conspirators), we can be counted as part of the rogue’s gallery of allies to China. The CEOs probably went to beg China to allow them to continue to purchase advanced semiconductors from Taiwan once China invades.

"Fool, traitor, or some combination thereof." Well put. In every aspect of his "governing" approach, he's a wrecking ball, leaving the country in ruins. Meanwhile he's filling his personal coffers by ripping off Americans and engaging in shameless insider trading.

Trump is going to refuse to sell the weapons promised to Taiwan. Surprise.
