While Justice Brett Kavanaugh indulged a bit of his chafing independent streak in this ruling, he will continue to piggyback his votes with his Chief, in his quest to become the next Chief Justice.

Today would be a great day for Volume II of Jack Smith’s report to be leaked.

Do Alito and Thomas not remember the Again in MAGA? That racist, anti-Catholic (and Italian) Again? Becoming a bigot does not make you eligible to sit at the Big Table.

There is no “becoming” about these two. They have always been far right extremists and bigots. And they are both appointees of good old fashioned, “normal” Republicans, the Bushes. Even none of Trump’s appointees voted for this voting suppression outrage but Dubya’s and the sainted GHW Bush’s guys did.

Republicans have been trying to suppress votes of minorities and the poor for decades. Poppy Bush opposed the Motor Voter Bill because it made it too easy for minorities and poor people. Dubya’s administration tried to force its US attorneys to bring phony voter fraud cases but had to fire several of them for refusing to bring those cases.
