He’s just like Trump. 75-80 years old. Not a lot of mileage left in the tank so to say…. He’s just going to keep kicking the can down the road until he himself kicks the proverbial bucket. There needs to be some major fundamental changes to our law system…. Major.

Agreed. Laws are mere words and our legal system is being discredited one lawsuit at a time.

Appealing every single decision the judge makes…. Has got to fkn end. It slows down the system to a fkn crawl. Shopping for judges OUTSIDE the jurisdiction the crime was committed in HAS GOT TO END.

Erik S hits the key problem when he says that "There needs to be some major fundamental changes to our law system ... Major." A good starting point is in the realization that the law system is great as structured. The problem is that the judiciary refuses to uphold it. A central piece of the American Constitution, gained from the Magna Carta, is that a defendant has fair trial rights in all criminal prosecutions from the Fifth and Sixth Amendment. Yet, whenever they see political gain from targeting a defendant they, through the prosecutor, rush to take away those rights in colluding with the news media. How they do this is documented in the newsletters entitled: "How the Judiciary Merged with the Publicity Machine" and Could the Judiciary Be This Far Gone?" What is the man thinking? I guess that is the point...he isn't thinking. He is shooting from the hip and hopes he finds his target. It really is embarrassing to watch his bumbling and he is probably being avoided by many he had hoped to get help from. Even Trump has sidelined him. It is difficult to feel bad for him since as this newsletter points out it is all of his own making.

any chance this could lead to jailing for civil contempt? It's not unheard of, I gather.

I don't know that off the top of my head but I've made a note to ask Liz that next time I talk to her.

I think the legal profession should have some discussions about lawyer's ethics and how lying is not a good approach. The number of suspended lawyers, and lawyers who've been disbarred is embarrassing for the profession. Maybe law The Firm and The Devil's Advocate should be required viewing at law schools. Maybe, it should also warn law school students about getting into politics. As Rick Wilson has been saying for some time, ETTD (everything that Trump touches dies).

What happens when he finally dies ( please be soon)? Would this slow it down even more? Or could it move along quicker since the court wouldn’t have to deal with mentally insane rudy any longer?
