Congrats, on the one year anniversary of Public Notice. I hope more people sign up for a paid subscription. When you consider it only costs less than a dollar per week, it's definitely a bargain. Thanks, Aaron, for all you do to bring awareness to the crazy world of politics, especially the cult of Trumpism.

Here's hoping for another successful year, with many more to come!

This is an accomplishment Aaron. Congratulations. I will continue to support you, your voice is important. Thank you too for broadening or sharing this space with other well chosen voices. Beyond your personal achievement, it's an example in general for journalism and it's important role democracy. I have to say there are many good voices now on line that I would like to support, including but not only, on substack but I have to be careful. This can(does) get to be quite an expense annually if I include the NYTimes and Wapo the WSJ and others (e.g. Foreign Affairs) in order to read compelling articles at this moment. Having the option to just read and not feel too sheepish I think is very important. The gentle nudge is great though. (One sub stack I like allows comments from those who are not subscribed. Others don't. There are pros and cons.. the openness, the time moderating etc.) Democracy is a work in progress.. this individual journalism is really a positive addition for both reader/the public and the journalist. Thanks to those who do their best to support journalism.

Suggestion: Perhaps Substack can offer different levels of support for those who are budget conscious.
