Death to Project 2025…. There I said it

Thank you!

The choice: Biden or Dictatorship;

Then: forever: Democrats or Dictatorship.

Project 2025 will be implemented with the next R President.

Also: note so much money and resources expended on Project 2025 that the R’s appear to be preparing to win regardless.

I worry we’re Weimar America.

This shit keeps me awake at night. The Heritage Project 2025 should be called The Chattel Project 2025. God, greed and grifting. This is the Christian White Nationalists handbook. The fact that Americans embrace Viktor Orban is pure insanity. MAGAQ has replaced the KKK White pointy hoods with red hats. It's a bigots dream. I wonder how thrilled they will be when all their 'socialist' support policies dissappear. Like Medicare/Medicaid and Social security.

John Adams only wanted White property owners to have the right to vote. If Republicans could pass that, they would. The wealthy will own us. And if we aren't grateful for the scraps they throw at our feet, we can go straight to hell. It's over. We can bend over and kiss our own asses goodbye. America will be Germany 2.0.

Thanks for the link to the Stephen Miller article - frightening. Judges are so important. I don't think this is something the voting public completely understands.

And if Project 2025 doesn't come to fruition, get ready for Project 2029. Then Project 2033, etc.

Project 2025 already has made enough statements to make sensible people (including the apparently diminishing number of honourable conservatives) alarmed. But the idea they plan to make Trump President for life via doing away with the 22nd Amendment seems fanciful. I am not sure if Project 2025 has a formal leadership, and if it does I presume Mr Tonguette is at best one of many voices. If this loathsome organization had a one person leader and he was it, I'm sure Lisa Needham would have told us.

If Trump won office (God help us) I'm sure he'd like to make himself a dictator and president for life. Sadly he wouldn't be the first President to think this way. In his case it'd be a matter of keeping himself out of a jail cell. He can't pardon his way out of the Georgia trial. But most dictators do this by doing away with elections altogether, rather than fight an incredibly uphill battle to change the constitution so he could merely compete in coming one election. I certainly wouldn't put it past Trump to try that if he gets elected and that's the possibility we should be worried about.

After conservative Paul Harvey on the radio at noon in the 60's and early 70's came along Rush Limbaugh's radio show broadcast to every truck driver across this nation. Later came satellite radio shows. This was the beginning of "nationalizing" conservative mind sets. There were probably liberal equivalents but I don't know of any, certainly none to Rush Limbaugh's shows. Listeners would say it's just entertainment all the while getting brainwashed. Then, the internet, home computers, lap tops, cell phones so that everyone (with enough money) could access these shows and others rather than just the "Nightly News" TV programs which were quite bipartisan for a while until cable 24/7 news (Ted Turner) came into being. Quickly followed by many Fox channel programs which every car dealership and service/maintenance garage had on in their waiting lounges.(Where I would change the channel or turn it off, if alone.) Around 2010 is when I became aware of "gaslighting" (not knowing what that meant until years later). I was retired by then and had the time to click, click, click. So surprised by some of the content which seemed to turn my understanding of government upside down and inside out. Then came Facebook. What fun it was...until it wasn't. Rabbit hole after rabbit hole, people got thrown into information tunnels with seemingly no way out. Many local newspapers went out of business. All this media "fairness"/unbiased/tell both sides of the story became the norm to manipulate and dupe the public (for profits). And here we are today in a real mess - not to mention the foreign bad actors like the Russians and the Chinese interfering and influencing with phony accounts. You've all seen them: their posts with little icons of American flags, hearts and what nots wanting to make friends with unsuspecting followers. The media. Authoritarian strategy #1. Which KGB Putin knows is successful and Xi Jinping also knows is successful having learned lessons from Mao. And the media is the #1 strategy for Hungary's Prime Minister Orban who visited Mar-A-Largo last month probably with a team of advisors to help out Trump. Remember Hungary is where the radical right held its CPAC (conference) a couple of years ago. It's where Tucker Carlson went regularly at that time too, broadcasting a show from there. (Remember Tucker going to Russia recently and admiring it so much - great supermarkets! -as though we don't have any here.) Why on Earth was he there? Trump's unofficial US Ambassador? Did he bring some nice documents there with him? Has he signed up as a foreign agent? When was the last time a former President invited a Prime Minister to his residence? Never! How many people know any of this is happening? How many people know what is Project 2025 written by the Heritage Foundation and why it's so important? It's Trump's and his allies's Mein Kampf, really. And he's broadcasting it out loud, just as Hitler did early on in his career. That's why you hear so much about Hitler these days. Our WWII veterans - our grandfathers and great-grandfathers - fought against the evil of that man. I've been to Normandy and visited the cemetery there. Our country does not need its own Hitler. Not now. Not anytime. Project 2025 does not include democracy. It is all about taking control of all this country's institutions and the MAGA's have done a really good job so far destroying them - look up gerrymandering. Enough.

I have said all along that if he had been elected he would have done away with the 22nd . He likes the perks of the job but not the work itself. Read his niece's book. He is lazy and would pay others to do his work. He must not be elected-that would be the death of democracy in our country. I cannot understand those who worship him. Why are they so blind to what the rest of us see? He has not got the popular vote either time. Get out the vote. Boot his ambitions out the door. Of course he will cry foul.

Wonder if the MAGA congresspeople are judges realize they will become insignificant if Trump is elected. They may accumulate wealth and become the new oligarchy. But the only power they’ll have is to rubber stamp what Trump wants; the only legislation they can pass is what Trump allows; and SCOTUS will be dead.

The best part here is that there won’t be any effort to hold a constitutional convention, just go to the courts!
