The original sin of the Justice Department is Alex Acosta’s sweetheart deal and the pass given to Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump, which by the way, is still ongoing. I will never forget.😞
I'd be surprised and disappointed if with a new Attorney General and Director of the FBI (assuming they're Democrat appointed) if the officers responsible for the two famous killings don't at least face charges of negligent homicide. In one case we have uncontested proof that the driver was shot in the side of the head...ie from the side of the car. A car not moving very fast. It's a bit hard to argue that this was self defence against a charging car.
That said it would be a tad unjust for just the trigger puller to be called to account. There's no doubt the tone of reckless aggression was set right from the top.
ICE could be more fittingly named as EISS, a German acronym pronounced as ICE that stands for Entführung Intern Schutz Staffel and translates to Abducting Internal Secret Police. They are an abducting organization. I could not resist putting the translation of SS in that acronym.
While the term “crimes against humanity” was not invented at the post WWII Nūremberg trials, it was the first time it was formally used in the prosecution of evil people. The term is applicable in so many ways and of so many people of the regime.
Politicians will preach expedience and reconciliation; as Americans it is our duty to demand the full weight of justice.
