Conservatism is so totally corrupted such that this is what conservatism has come to mean, not a political philosophy to consider and at least tolerate. Conservatives Republicans, especially the Federalist Society (except for Baude and Paulsen apparently), accepted Trump with open arms, someone they could work with to gain, usurp power. The corrupted found others easy to corrupt and so we have RICO, thank you Fani Willis. The law will hopefully succeed where the best efforts of our Congress did not.

Ever since the wheels of Christian Nationalists and Republicans turned together to get Reagan elected they have continued to tarnish the Republican Machine right from 1980 till the present . They have all justified their illegal approaches and actions . Their capacity for reality is fractured . What a bunch of entitled scumbags. When I was in law school (‘87-‘90) the Federalist Society people were the ones at the bottom of the class who had bigger mouths than brains. I clerked at a small PI firm my first summer and had to work with one of those morons. This guy was a third year law student and still could not write a decent memo or pleading, I spent my summer rewriting his bullshit and having to tell people that no, I was not a secretary, I was a law clerk. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 Oh, and btw? The male morons at that firm were treated much better and more respectfully than I was, even though I had the best resume among the bunch - by a WIDE margin.
