It’s heartbreaking that so many Americans care more about their gas prices than murdered children. America has certainly lost its way.

Every time I hear about gas prices, I get furious that this seems more important to Americans than the thousands of deaths and environmental and structural damage of a pointless war of aggression. Every time I hear that Trump's poor stewardship of the economy is the thing that will do him in rather than the warehousing of people in concentration camps, I am also furious.

The fact that this administration is targeting the least among us… children, the sick, the refugees… with every move they make, and our government has not done anything to stop this monster from burning our moral compass to the ground is devastating. Do unto others as you would have done until you. We live in a world of sado-masochists.😞

Thank you for saying what I've been feeling. The innocent are always the most forgotten and the most hurt. My heart is broken for them. I'm so ashamed of who "we" are.

We will be known as the murderers of innocent children, as the instigators of an unprovoked war, as guilty of war crimes. What will be our response - that is the question.

We are now the same

as Russia invading Ukraine!

We will not forget the war crimes this administration committed.

A horrible atrocity

Those oceans that protect us have made us ignorant about the world "over there." And ignorant about our ignorance. And this "administration" doesn't really care about "America First." It's simply "Me First." The stochastic terrorism being visited upon the people is very effective ... against Republicans. They are the ones afraid to stand up. They think they can benefit from placating Godzilla.

This was a truly great piece. Made me stop and think how I too think of civilians in far-away war zones created by us as almost non-playing characters, and how profoundly wrong and immoral that point of view is.

Oh, Donald—still harming children, I see.

The country has committed the atrocities you describe here, accurately, since its beginning. The country is owned and operated by corporations that 'treat' consumers/citizens as commodities. At 100% loss as to how people stop the atrocities as long as they, themselves, are atomized as objects. Cardinal Cupich genuinely is a ray of light in otherwise perennial sundown. Yet, he is only 1 of about 300 bishops in the USCCB.

That was a really tough read. I have felt so numb since I heard about the school being bombed. I cannot even imagine if that happened here. If we lost 168 people mostly young girls in that horrific way there would be an impossible outrage. That is what I am feeling for all the Iranians who are just like us. They are trying to get away from the bombs, but they are bombing everywhere and can't get away. My heart keeps breaking a little more each day this continues. My prayers are with the people in Iran. I hope they can stay safe.

Morals? Now, aren't those old-fashioned and considered woke?

Dems were demure and republicans silent about the sexual exploitation of children by the Epstein Class, so is it any wonder why the basically ignore the murder of more than 140 Iranian children? As with Epstein, repulsive clowns such as kegsbreath and trump will steer clear of any responsibility for their actions.

Just wait until they start bombing our country. Then it won't seem like a video game.

Thanks for this- I couldn’t agree more
