I mean, January 6th was an “inside job” inasmuch as the president at the time and several congresspeople from his own party were wholly responsible for it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Agree. Surely he must be. Like that "Alpha Male" clown on Twitter!

Words escape me. It's horrifying to read this summary, and it must have been even more horrifying to watch it (thank-you for doing that for the rest of us). As to the reaction from the rest of the world, I would say I'm ashamed of how that performance must look, but look at how our bigoted, sexist, antisemitic, xenophobic words and actions have influenced countries you'd never think could elect a conservative government, like New Zealand!

The Democratic Party should take some of the worst, most appalling statements made and use them in ads meant to draw a comparison between the rabid, unapologetic GOP and the inclusive nature of the Dems.

Among a group of unlikeable people Vivek walks away a winner every time. These weren't debates but forums for name calling and demonstrating that in order to be a "presence" in the GOP you have to be a soulless, misogynistic, inhumane, "person" with no vision and hope for the future of our country.

We have to defeat the GOP again and again and again. Until they finally realize that, not only do we NOT want what they're selling, but they are traitors to all the best aspirations of Americans.

They won’t realize that. They’re too arrogant and bigoted to every even consider that they’re not in the right and deserve to rule.

So it’s not voting against them until they somehow come around. It’s voting against them AND holding them responsible for their crimes (yes, using the ballot box AND the courtroom) until the Republican Party no longer exists.

It wouldn't be so bad if so many people hadn't drunk the Kool-aid. These fools are extremely dangerous.

And Christie is certainly right about Ramaswamy. He is the most obnoxious, arrogant POS on that stage!

The Republican Party as a whole has become a real Enemy of the People

The sad thing is not so much that most (all?) of the candidates for 2nd place in the Republican party dabbled in bigotry. The real problem is that they accurately perceive advancing bigoted statements is the way forward in winning votes in a Republican primary. And I'm inclined to think that their judgement is correct. They'd certainly know better than me and I would guess any writers and commentators in this largely left wing substack.

Can anyone imagine any of these candidates working respectfully with foreign leaders? They don't know how to even talk with respect to each other or the groups they smear! I will never understand why anyone would support any of them and especially trump. We are ruined if trump wins the general election. Please remember to vote and get all your friends and family members to vote. If trump does win, he will never give up the office.

"...and the job of the new president is to harm the marginalized people who are supposedly responsible."

How is this different from 1930s Germany? (Except that our economy is strong and inflation has slowed.)

On a scale of 1-10, here is how much I hate these jackasses:

Christy - 4

Haley - 5

DeSantis - 9

Ramaswathy - 10+

... and then there is Orange Jesus:

Trump - DQ

According to my fake poll, the majority of viewers of the debate did not know what chromosomes were, and thought XX was referring to porn.

How can anyone tolerate Vivek for more than 60 seconds is beyond me. Only Trump can beat him. I can tolerate him for about a nanosecond.
