I listened to a couple of your clips, Aaron, on Twitter on the Trump/Carlson interview because I was most interested in what Trump had to say about Xi of China and then Putin. Trump was sure to denigrate Biden as not smart. He extolled Xi and Putin.Trump's spiel was vapid and delivered in his fake charm, knowingly as if he is someone whose word you have to take on the subject.
Where does Trump get off evaluating any leader being the disaster he was and then being taken seriously about anything?
And regarding moral values? So Trump is a walking talking bag of wind.
And we elevated him- still do. I was looking for reasons why since this part of the interview was also reverberated on MSNBC. The answer is this I think: the shock value of Trump calling these leaders smart and "at the top of their game". It was insubstantial and a surface remark but enough to catch the media. Trump works perfectly with the media- he's still at the top of his game.
I appreciated this interview. As an old person, I'd like to consolidate (and limit) my social media use and am therefore not on TikTok, Twitter or Facebook. Can I get her videos on YouTube? If so I could maybe show them to my 97 year old dad who is addicted to Fox.
