Who is "we?" When you claim to represent a plurality it implies that the other is a "lone" voice and therefore diminishes it. No need for further attempts to cool me out; when someone is teetering on the brink of identifying an entire class of people as "stupid"--and worse, doesn't realize they are offensive--people will certainly be angry and must speak up.
