I used to take the Torch back in the Monday Night Wars. Mr. Keller excelled at covering the more unpleasant aspects of the biz. I still remember his coverage of Eddie Guerrero’s death and the Chris Benoit murder of his wife and son and then his suicide. I was a big Shawn Michael’s fan and Mr. Keller covered his out of the ring exploits very well. There were way too many premature deaths of wrestlers and I no longer really follow it anymore.

This was a fun read, Aaron! As a fellow Minnesotan, I grew up in the 60's and watched All Star Wrestling on Friday nights with my grandparents. It was the highlight of their week! First, we went to local VFW for Friday night wieners and beans and then to their house for the big show. Mad Dog Vachon, Verne Gagne, The Crusher and Wally Karbo are all names I remember well. Verne Gagne was my hero. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
