Despite my very negative impression towards Vance up to now I'm glad he has this stance towards the Iran war which never should have started in the 1st place. If they want change, the Iranian people must rise up sufficiently, just like the Gazans could have done against Hamas according to some Israeli defenders of the atrocious Gaza "war". Unfortunately outside powers clearly can't do it so they end up doing much more harm than good. And he's delivered some home truths to Israel.
Trump wants more than money and monuments to himself, he wants retribution against his enemies. I wouldn’t be surprised if he throws Vance under the bus.
