If only he had as much animosity towards pedophiles as he does the wind turbines…

What a freaking dumbass loser.

Thanks, Liz and PN!

My mother, who grew up on the plains in the midst of the Dust Bowl, often commented on the energy of the wind. It was a windmill that pumped the water from their well before they had electricity at the farm. I remember her saying more than once, “We should use that energy.” I’ve been thinking about her words as I watch the gas prices tick up.

I thought the man-child president could not sink any lower. Once again, he proved me wrong. His pettiness and disregard for the public good are appalling. I can't wait for his impeachment!

Tell your governor to resist Trump and his big oil backers and build renew energy.

I’m from Iowa where wind energy is big business. Where are the voices of our 6 representatives and senators on this issue? Will they just roll over while my tax dollars are misspent by Trump during an energy crisis?????

His proposed "Independent Arch" at 250 feet tall is about 75% of the height of the average wind turbine in the U.S., and its scale is likely to grow as his ballroom specs have. If built near the Potomac as planned, it would tower over the 100-foot-tall Lincoln Memorial and dramatically affect D.C.'s iconic landscape. The only energy it would produce would be to puff up his ego. Add distorted vision to his other ailments.

Thank you, Ms. Dye. The stupidity and amorality continues to ratchet up. The insanity of pushing AI centers that use vast amounts of energy and simultaneously endangering the world oil supply and killing green energy is a sure sign someone is, once again, not connecting the dots. On the lighter side, we can take a page from QANON and conjecture about deep state plots to sabotage America.

His concern about dead birds disappears when it comes to his sky scrapers.

Where does Trump get the funds for buying back permits or other projects like imprisoning migrants in foreign countries. I don't recall hearing of congress appropriating money for these uses.

Didn’t they hide all that funding in “The One Big Beautiful Bill”?

There’s a reason he asked O&G companies for $1B for his campaign. Killing wind & other renewable energy sources is how he’s paying them back now.

Oddly enough, here in my province, Alberta, our ridiculous premier has been ahead of trump by declaring a 7-month long “moratorium” on renewables which chased $33B of investments out of Alberta. premier Smith was previously a lobbyist for O&G, of course.

Seems to me this is how oil & gas oligarchs maintain their hegemony. They know that the climate crisis is happening but are determined to keep their power. That’s who really runs the world, it seems.

He doesn’t understand the either the power of nature(wind& sun & trees), now does he understand the harm of pollution caused by coal, etc..but he does understand the power of $$, given to him by the petroleum industry. He can’t read, and won’t hire anyone who could educate him about these vital issues. So, vote for those who can and will support these vital issues.

From my collection. Best read word for word, out loud, and carefully to get the full unhinged character of such blather spewing from Trump on a daily basis. (from December 2019)

"I never understood wind. I know windmills very much, I have studied it better than anybody. I know it is very expensive. They are made in China and Germany mostly, very few made here, almost none, but they are manufactured, tremendous — if you are into this — tremendous fumes and gases are spewing into the atmosphere. You know we have a world, right? Soak it in, everybody. So the world is tiny compared to the universe. So tremendous, tremendous amount of fumes and everything. You talk about the carbon footprint, fumes are spewing into the air, right spewing, whether it is China or Germany, is going into the air."

I’m going to have to pass on reading it out loud. I’ll be too busy banging my head against a wall.

There are not enough curse words in the English language to enable me to listen to that man speak, and yet even without reading it out loud or watching the clip I can hear him say it in my head.

I feel the exact same way. Every time I am exposed to his words or ideas, I lose hundreds of brain cells, maybe thousands, depending on the day…

The reasons the EO gave for the emergency are strong arguments in favor of wind, solar, and every other form of green energy. The war dispels the notion that fossil fuels are a reliable source. Yet another example of an administration that can’t keep its shit straight.
