Filing suit against these law breakers would be a good start. I don't hold out for Trump being prosecuted and actually facing any meaningful penalties. It's possible, but kind of a long shot. Many of these people are young and have enriched themselves and I am sure will willingly pay attorneys to keep them in lawsuits for years. There's a cottage industry just waiting to happen. Let's see how serious the new Congress is. Assuming of course that they're allowed to be seated without a bloody battle.
I know I am dreaming, but these geniuses aren't funding the drug trade or sending arms to a Central American country. They're right there in the open for any enterprising lawyer to make a name for themselves.
Yes. But there’s always the question of standing. SCOTUS - in a grand effort to avoid ruling on the merits of - is too fond of deciding, usually by shadow docket, against such procedural matters.
If I was a young lawyer, I would try just for name recognition. The SCOTUS won't last forever in it's current form, unless P2025 actually replaces our government, in which case our descendants are in for a rough existence.
Restoring respect for the law in government and political officials would be a very good thing. I wonder if a new Democratic government would make it a priority given the enormity of the repair job that will need to be done.
I do think it would be in order for all members of cabinet and executive staffers say "the corrupt and incompetent Trump administration (regime?)" whenever it is mentioned. Unlike the constant present smears about the Biden administration this has the ring of truth that would make it effective if said often enough.
Never going to happen. Our leaders are gutless. And law enforcement supports these shitheads. They all voted for him and they all simp for him. There will be zero consequences unless they can find a woman or brown or black person to blame.

Lawsuits filed by whom? Has to wait for a new administration … if our be-culted population can remember that far back.

Quite agree … and it IS now up to the young—one hopes they will find a voice.

I want my taxpayer dollars to go specifically towards jackboot polish.
I was hoping I could pay for a gold toilet handle in the new ballroom.
Sorry, Ms. Kass … but a gold-plated plunger ball is still available.
I don’t think Republicans have caught on to how repulsive Trump’s image is for many people.
Trump has an unattractive voice as well. Arrogance without a single visible reason for him to feel anything but shame
