“The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, prejudices - to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy, and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all its own - for the children and the children yet unborn. And the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to The Twilight Zone.”

(Closing narration: "The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street", Twilight Zone episode, aired March 4, 1960)
The way I see it, the invasion of one state by another is a call to arms. I see an armed clash of National Guards. Also, the gerrymander fight is on. There is a new playbook. The old rules have been struck down by the Supreme Court. We need to change the gears here as fast as possible for deadly preemptive strikes. Newsom has moved out on this already. Who is next? Hochul. Where are you? Ptitzker. What are you doing?
With ICE as his brown shirts, Trump moves to make the National Guard - especially in Confederate states - his black shirts. Perfect. Though not trained for police work, they ARE trained to invade and eliminate the “enemy”.
The responsibility for this travesty is not only with Trump and the listed Red state governors, it's also with every single Republican member of the House and the Senate. They are complicit.
What blue state national guard members must do is ignore the orange pig and stand with their state and oath. If red state guard members attempt to illegally enter the state….kent state time, open fire with shoot to kill orders. We are in a civil war, bottom line. Time to stop pussyfooting around and lay down the red line to these traitorous motherfuckers.
Having served as a soldier, I'm always super impressed by people sitting around slurping a nice cold beer and saying somebody else should go get themselves killed.
But if the special guard unit under Hegseth consists of state guards, federalized by Trump, would they not fall under Posse Comitatus? This is all getting so convoluted!
Folks, if you are able to donate, please look at OATH, an fantastic organization that makes data-driven recommendations to help us donate effectively. https://app.oath.vote/
Donating money willy-nilly – touched by a candidate’s message or backstory – is usually a waste of money. Targeted donations are much more effective. Some elections are more consequential than others. And some candidates make better use of your donations – don’t bother with those who are under-funded or over-funded. And some of the most important elections are for offices we almost never hear about.
From OATH’s latest email: “Trump has announced a new line of attack on mail-in voting and vote counting procedures. But local officials, not the federal government, decide how elections are run. Oath has partnered with the State and Local Elections Alliance to identify the precise counties and jurisdictions where election results are most likely to be targeted by Republicans so we can proactively secure the certification process. These are high impact donations because the campaigns are very inexpensive and often overlooked”
And if you donate thru OATH, the candidates don’t receive your contact information - so you will NOT be deluged with requests for more money. OATH has changed how I support candidates; and in the year I’ve been following them, I haven’t gotten ONE follow-up request for money. Not one.
A nice benefit of this method is you can immediately delete any texts or emails you get from random candidates. A big time saver!
Mass deportation may indeed be the goal … but also housing future unpaid labor from the concentration camps to replace underpaid immigrant labor, is also a consideration.

Is Trump asking for a civil war? Blue states should have a right to defend themselves and form a militia if this gets out of hand
