RE: The White House posting unflattering images of Blacks who were arrested, could a good lawyer point out potential jury tampering? Those posts are also racist and disgusting.

But useful, reaffirming — Welfare Queens and Willie Horton for a new century.

They stopped even pretending that they aren't racists. Some are genuinely to-the-core racists, and some employ it because it is a useful tool in the authoritarian toolbox (and Project 2025 manual: how to dismantle a functioning democracy).

Goes without saying, any city with a recognizable black community is bad … and its women, universally nasty. The Confederacy woke again.

Most cities do have significant Black populations, including the area where I live. This does not mean that crime is rampant. I worked in a school in the city of Buffalo for several years where the student body was 90 percent Black, and it was a great opportunity for me, a white woman, to learn about a culture I knew little about. Black families love their children and fight hard for them to have opportunities to excel. They're not different in that respect from families or anyone else. Living with Black families, Hispanics and Arab Muslims was a great awakening for me. I can honestly say that I learned to love everybody. The rich whites who spread lies are our real enemy.

Well of course, crime isn’t rampant. But what IS rampant is all these darker skinned people who need to be “controlled”. The New Segregation.

Illusory power for Trump; arrogance and a sense of invincibility from the Project 2025 boyz.

They cuffed a guy who was sitting in the back of a van because there was an open "alcoholic beverage" near him. He naturally resisted and "came in contact with" a cop's body. They want to charge him with an attack on a police officer with a sentence of 8 years Important to note: the guy was NOT the driver.

This all reminds me of the 'burning cities" hysteria during the Floyd protests. I live about 5 miles from the center of one of those protest. Went walking the dog at night--all was calm, all was bright. From streetlamps, not fires.

Funny they didn't have a picture of MTG in cuffs when she (or someone, Boetbutt?) carted a gun into Congress

No, Trump doesn't hate cities. But he's pandering to a large group of MAGAs who do - people in flyover country who have grown up believing that cities are infested with crimes committed by non-whites, whose streets are lined with trash and abandoned cars. It's the racism, Stephen. Almost everything Trump whines about has to do with racism.
