An unserious madman with more power than he can handle. There was a woman who warned us of exactly this. The one who laughed.

"Justice Department lawyers in Oregon argued that attacks on the ICE facility there, plus the sniper attack on the ICE facility in Dallas recently, constitute a “rebellion”"

First, Trump loses all credibility of concern over what constitutes a "rebellion" after he pardoned ALL of the violent 'offenders' from the jan 6 insurrection.

Second, if the sniper attack on the ICE facility in Dallas is so central to the case, why are the troops being sent into states very far away from Dallas Texas?

This president and this DoJ have ZERO credibility after all their lies and not obeying lawful court orders and therefore do not deserve 'deference'.

The only truths in all of this are the “president” is a convicted criminal and the only rebellion and insurrection were 1/6. All his vindictive petty sociopathy will never change that.

"Trump was watching old riot footage on Fox". Trump was watching Fox, which was presenting old riot footage as current. This is hugely important. Fox isn't a news organization, and it lying to the public. It has been for over 20 years.

Fox needs to have fact-checkers deployed 24x7, with authorization to require clarifications and real facts presented - facts from this reality, not the Kellyanne Conway "alternate reality".

And the Murdochs need to be seized by ICE and rendered to a 3rd world country. Perhaps El Salvador, to whose prisons Fox's distortions caused immigrants in the U.S. (undocumented or documented ; legally present or not) to be sent.

“I spoke to the governor, she was very nice,” Trump said. “But I said, ‘Well wait a minute, am I watching things on television that are different from what’s happening? My people tell me different.’ They are literally attacking and there are fires all over the place … it looks like terrible.”

Bull. Don’t believe anything he says. He’s finding out how unpopular his deployment of National Guard members and military troops are, so he figures he needs to deflect responsibility from himself.

Oh , but wait. This sound bite is true at least for that moment, until he dreams up another way to deflect.

Good summary all of which living in Portland and fighting lies has been angering.

Our great AG has worked tirelessly.

Sadly, that “9th circus” panel may screw things up…

Great city here all we want is to live and work as far away from cess pool DC

PS: Snopes found no verifiable evidence that the children in Chicage were zip-tied. But they were removed to be certain theye weren't being "trafficked" by their own parents. Duh. Otherwise, spot-on!

One of the three 9th circuit judges actually compared the ICE Portland facility to Fort Sumter in 1861, under threat of attack by the Confederate army. So I think we see where this is all going. Hopefully Portland can get an appeal up to an en blanc panel, looks like they drew a Trumpy lot for the three judge panel.
