ETTD. We thought we’d avoided the Grim Reaper after Jan 6, but 77 million looked at Trump’s poison and thought, May we have more?

Now the only question is whether the rest of the world goes with us in some conflagration.

Elizabeth Graham's avatar

I believew the answer to your question is NO. The rest of the world KNOWS that Trump has been compromised by Russia - and no other country wishes the same.

Lucius's avatar

The better question is "will someone be able to stop him from launching nuclear weapons if and when Republicans lose elections"

Kelly Grey's avatar

If we are a country that presents a trophy on clean coal (insert eye roll), we have lost it.

Elizabeth Graham's avatar

We "lost" it when we allowed Trump to sleep in the White House a second term.

Yes, we are all passengers in the Trump death cab. His daily destruction of the United States, our government, our people, and our way of life is obvious to some of us and a rendition of yesterday’s news to the rest of the world.

There is one essential element which your message overlooks – the reason for his destruction. He is known as the "demolition man" in this serial film, but he was enticed and pilfered by Russia for his moral crimes and atrocities. The crystal-clear facts are all transparent and conspicuous. Although Russia and much of Europe and the world acknowledge Trump's ties to Russia, Americans remain skeptical.

Christopher Steele was a British Secret Intelligence Service (M16) from 1987 to 2009. In 2017, he prepared memos and wrote a book claiming Russia had compromising material on then US President-elect Donald Trump.

Peter Strzok, a former FBI official with decades working in counterintelligence, wrote a book on “Why He Believes Trump is ‘Compromised’ by Russia.” In 2016, Judy Woodruff interviewed Peter Strzok and said, “In the book, you write about what you call the president’s lies about his business dealings with the Russians. How did that compromise him?”

If you look during the campaign trail in 2016, at one campaign speech, President Trump makes a comment to the crowd that: I have no financial dealings with Russia, no relationship whatsoever in any financial way. At the exact same moment, his personal attorney Michael Cohen is making a deal or trying to make a deal for Trump Tower Moscow, which continued throughout the campaign and at least later into the summer. The issue with that is, when he says that, it's a lie. Vladimir Putin knows that it's a lie. Certainly, President Trump knew it was a lie. And, at the time, the FBI knew it was a lie. So, what that does, though, is that, in order to maintain that lie, those parties have to be complicit in it.

Craig Unger is an award-wining NYT bestselling author of American Kompromat, The House of Trump, House of Putin, and Den of Spies, as well as several other books. He said, “Is Donald Trump a Russian asset? A relatively insignificant targeting operation by the New York KGB station more than forty years ago – an attempt to recruit an influential businessman as a new asset for the purpose of laundering black cash, triggered a sequence of intelligence protocols that morphed into the largest intelligence bonanza in history. Enticed by money, women/sex, and constant flattery Trump has ignored our Constitution, closed USAID, put military troops on the streets of American cities, invaded other countries, and ignored the separation of powers imbedded into our form of government. Unger’s books provide the PROOF – names, dates, places, etc.

For the sake of brevity, my history was CIA, twelve years working with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) with eight years as the manager of the largest Russian-language library of military, intelligence, and technical information in the US, then twenty years in the USSR, Russia, Central Asia, and Ukraine. I attended an event for Russian orphans where President Yeltsin was present and gave a Power Point presentation in Russian to Mayor Sobchuk and Vice Mayor Putin in St. Petersburg. I know Mr. Trump was compromised in Russia. Additionally, my eldest daughter worked as the bookkeeper at the Beverly Hills nightclub and casino in Moscow, and was aware of all payment transactions. Owned by Russians, it was managed by Chuck Norris Enterprises. It specialized in underage prostitution, and Trump was there twice that I know about. Yes, there are photos, just like there are cameras in all hotel rooms in Russia where a foreigner stays.

The line of loyalty regarding the current Epstein scandal is: (1) Epstein had a photo of himself with Trump on his desk, (2) Trump has a photo of himself with Putin on his desk, and (3) Putin has a folder on his desk containing compromising material of Trump.

In 2018, I wrote the first edition of From Democracy to Democrazy. The second edition is now a bestseller and was released in 2023 on Amazon. My website is: www.democrazy2020.org with a short 2-minute video called: How Donald Trump Destroyed the U.S. Elizabeth Graham

I just want to say believe and follow Elizabeth Potter Graham. She’s invaluable.

The regime is trying to kill us all in innumerable ways and particularly if you are female. They have assaulted our health. An amoral minority has endangered women’s health, their ability to take care of their family, and now they’re coming for our vote. Our vote gets us out of this mess. That is if we do have an election that matters.

I’m a 70 yo adult grandmother with serious health problems. I worry constantly about all children, all grandchildren, and the future people who will inherit this country. Health and healthcare are are gone. Fortunately I have my own coverage. However, not everyone does. There is now a serious shortage of in-home care because of deportation. All of us boomers who really want and need to age in place are screwed. If your Medicare dependent, you’re in even worse shape.

They’re poisoning our environment with all their EPA cuts. We cannot trust the food we eat, the water we drink, or the air we breathe. The CDC/FDA have abandoned us.The planet is rapidly warming because they’re taking away the most viable forms of clean energy and replacing them with coal. The data centers

are a nightmare in terms of water and power for millions, not to mention livelihoods.

I believe most of the nation is very traumatized at this point and it’s gonna take years to get past what we have witnessed. Especially Minneapolis and the places the gestapo has been.

As a 50 year RN, I feel the moral injury every second of every day. Anyone who suffers from PTSD, which is a lot of women, god help them with a regime that exacerbates they’re symptoms daily. Our veterans are suffering too and access to care is eroding. Our voices are silenced to a degree. It’s an oligarchy.

We are a failing nation morally, ethically, spiritually, and the disconnected from politics and the brainwashed Fox viewers make everything worse.

I’ve said enough already because I seem to be in a permanent state of rage. Thank you, David and Elizabeth for all you do to expose these monsters. We are blessed with so many independent journalists/investigators risking their lives daily.

Outside of Minneapolis, we are not resisting and fighting nearly hard enough.

It’s up to us all to save the country and ourselves.

MHO

Thank you for reading my rant.

As we know, the abortion issue is all about controlling women and absolutely nothing to do with being pro-life. Just last night, I read an article about the increase in terrible childhood diseases coming back due to declining vaccination and was thinking about what could possibly be the motive in allowing that to happen - perhaps to keep women home, fearing sending their children to child care centers where they could get ill. If someone can think of another motive, I would like to hear it.

I cannot for the life of me think of any reason that would legitimate any of this. Genetic selection? Wasn’t Epstein doing shit like that? Women have an innate empathetic and caring nature. Killing our kids probably makes them very happy knowing that. Torturing souls, destroying humanity as we know it. Malevolence and Cruelty. Self esteem of these cretins are in the gutter.

Alexandra's avatar

Or maybe, it is simply that spending any money helping others is considered a waste to these monsters as anyone outside their elite circle is expendable.

Alexandra's avatar

He is able to do it because others with the power to stop him look the other way - the corruption is breathtakingly deep and broad.

Stop using their framing that any of their cuts are to “pay for” oligarch tax cuts. It’s nihlists all the way down.

Thank you, Mr. Lurie. Hopefully the trend to at least be skeptical of djt will continue. What is worrisome is that djt’s followers are not capable of “reading” djt. As much as you are known by the company you keep, you should be known by the people you hero worship. And djt’s heroes are the worst of the worst.

As the title of Rick Wilson's 2018 book proclaims: "Everything Trump Touches Dies..." In the same vein, remember the second half of Mary L Trump's 2020 expose about her deranged uncle: "How My Family Created the World's Most Dangerous Man." Touch of death and danger: how fitting.

This column reminds me of that book out a few years ago. After desegregation, some Southern cities filled in their public pools with concrete rather than integrate them.

If we have actual elections in November and Democrats manage to retake the house and Senate I give it less than a year before he starts floating trial balloons about launching nuclear strikes at whoever he's scapegoating at that particular minute.

I agree. It’s part of the billionaires’ idea to turn the world nationless, ruled by the richest among them, our overlords. Back to the future!

No, we are not. We are not in the car. We are not him and he is not us. Ultimately, he will stand all alone with his consequences.
