Oh, I see how this works, Little Mikie (Bible-thumper) Johnson. As long as a bank is robbed "out in the open" the perp doesn't have to worry about being tried for the crime. The amount of metal gyration it must take him to justify the evils of Drumpf is truly mind-boggling. He is one of the worst examples of Drumpf sycophancy and an embarrassment to my state of Louisiana. Thanks to the heinous ruling of SCOTUS giving the convicted felon in the White House virtually unlimited power, he has turned the office of presidency into a criminal enterprise full of grifters and supplicants who are more than willing to pay to play. The infamous words of Gordon Gekko uttered in the 1987 movie "Wall Street" apply here: "The point is...greed is good. Greed is right. Greed works." And here we are.

All this so Pious Mike can have a mayonnaise sandwich at the Whites Only Cafe!

And a white bread mayo sandwich at that! Little Mikie is anti-women (no to choice), anti-LGBTQ+ (no to same gender marriage or legal protections for us), a notorious 2020 election denier who voted against certifying the election, against legalization of marijuana even medical (idiotically calling MJ a "gateway drug"), climate-science skeptic, supporter of Drumpf's 2017 Muslim Ban EO and opposed to military aid to the valiant people of Ukraine and the ultimate MAGAt to name just a few of his flaws. Apparently, if Mikie had his way, the US would become the dystopian, totalitarian state of Gilead chillingly depicted in Margaret Atwood's monumental book "The Handmaid's Tale."

And let’s not forget that this brave Christian warrior smiles wanly at the potential deportation of millions of Christians who are, apparently, not white enough to be truly Christian.

Apparently, Medicare is “waste” … but if you’re caught defrauding Medicare, your presidential pardon is in the mail.

Wonder what it will take for MAGAs to wake up to Trump destroying their nation and its standing in the world. Perhaps when they are imprisoned for using English instead of Russian or perhaps Chinese as things are going. I am glad I have the beginnings of a Chinese vocabulary thanks to my daughter taking it for 6 years in school, and having Chinese friends.

The Administration’s plan to escalate the peaceful protest in Los Angeles is in full swing. Militarized ICE agents attacking a macho-driven community is not wise. Nevertheless ICE was able to secure their areas with modest support from county and state Local Law Enforcement (LLE). No Federal assistance was requested; however, the Trump administration illegally mobilized and seconded the California National Guard. That was an inflammatory response fueled simultaneously with rabble-rousing malign words from xenophobic Steven Miller, racist militant Tom Homan, dog shooter Kristi Noem, and the drunk Pete Hegseth. They are all instigating turmoil and fanning the flames. If they had any peace-inducing ideas, they would STFU.

I did not know where this protest will lead, but peace during protests is suggested. Stop with the rock throwing, please. Passionate is okay. I suggest just laying down in the streets. Big, heavy protestors should take a rest, as I explain.

As so many actions of this administration are brought to light, the refusal of mainstream media to accurately report on the illegality of these agencies, the cruelty and viscous nature of the attacks on the vulnerable is beyond comprehension. And to the Republicans in Congress favoring this bill- with cuts to healthcare as well as cutting support for feeding those in need- I say this: take away their access to the the healthcare WE provide them with and make them navigate the nightmare of dealing with medical issues while trying to find adequate coverage. Make them spend days trying to feed children when the cupboards are empty. Make them walk a mile in the shoes of many in this country!!

The United States Supreme Court made criming legal by this one man last year in the worst decision ever penned in history. Criminal immunity has absolutely no support in the constitution, laws or precedent, and the country's been around for 250 years.

The six members of the court who invented that bullshit did it for Trump alone and pulled it directly out of their Ivy League asses, after telling us under oath during their confirmation hearings that "no man is above the law, not even the president." They lied under oath, and that makes them felons too. The court ceased to be a legitimate governmental institution long ago.

David nicely sums up 16 tons of Trump corruption. About the only thing not noted was how well his decription of activities mirror the NAZI Gestapo. As the Republican Congress is enabling all this lawlessness as well as Musk vandalizing our government, they too have signed on to the NAZI attack on our democracy. I doubt they will all be voted out of office next year. Sadly, the DNC is attacking the only voice for change that voters under 40 are likely to be attracted to because the elder powerful want to "Hogg" the limelight as their egos clearly Trump their desire to win elections.

All of this is on the Supreme Court, this is a monster nearly 100% of their creation. Of course one knows this is a one way street - any Democrat engaging in similar behavior would engender a special sub-ruling noting this leniency only applies to Republicans, specifically Trump. Not sure why Roberts and company thought this was a good idea, it's not as if they aren't intelligent people and could clearly see where this would go - but the desire to be a partisan hack seems to have outweighed any logic or common sense. One wonders if they have any regrets (I doubt it).
