Went to Teaneck, NJ - big! Maybe more than 1000. Saw a frog, and brought a frog (wooden!). Favorite sign: A picture of Trump on a golden toilet with the words, “No kings, but you can keep your throne.”

We demonstrate every Thursday evening. The response on Saturday was fantastic!

Trump wants $230M from DOJ. He originally said the ballroom would cost $250M.

Last I looked, it was up to $300M.

Trump didn't get the public opinion for the ballroom thing. Mr I will do whatever I choose. Also, all that gaudy gold plated junk. He is disgusting.

Thank you for highlighting that Trump is continuing to violate our Constitution. The people who wrote and ratified our original Constitution and our Bill of Rights had a word for what Trump is doing: usurping. See, e.g., https://reason.com/volokh/2019/03/07/james-madison-on-abuse-and-usurpation/ (highlighting the difference between abusing powers that were granted and usurping powers that were not granted). Many of The Federalist Papers used some form of the word "usurp" to warn about conduct such as Trump's. Trump is usurping (and trying to usurp) many powers that he was not given. Trump's title should be "The Usurper."

Portland Maine had 6K to 10k attend, and had inflatable chickens and dinasaurs! (There may have been a frog or two.)We had dozens of protests around the state totalling around 50K all together.

Thanks to Nir and Rupar for the enlightening discussion. During the current Dark Age, it is easy to become hopeless with the constant tsunami of atrocities perpetrated by the orange-faced mad king and his deplorable minions and sycophants (I'm look at you Little Mikie Johnson, Herr Stephen "Goebbels" Miller and bleached blonde Pam Bondi for starters). That's why it is so important for people like N & R to remind us that we cannot lose hope. We must remember that there are millions of us who share a common goal of saving our country from becoming the dictatorship being pursued by the Trumpists (I don't refer to them as Republicans any longer...that's just so provincial and outdated). I am so proud of those who participated in the No Kings rallies and marches last weekend. The gatherings were joyful, hopeful, peaceful and had NOTHING to do with supporting Hamas, hating America (if exercising our First Amendment rights has nothing to do with hating America) or being paid by George Soros to be there. The struggle continues unabated.

Mike Johnson is complicit in the takeover. All Republicans are complicit.

Our rally in McMinnville, Yamhill County, Oregon (Trump by 51.4% in 2024) drew 1300-1500 participants. We had bears, cows, frogs, unicorns and one Trump baby with "Putin is my Daddy" written on his chest. One cantankerous but nonviolent fellow parked his truck on the yellow line on the street in front of us, blocking our view. Monitors gathered to handle the situation. Eventually he left, causing no incident. A smaller group gathers weekly to remind passersby that we love our democratic republic.

I watch your videos when I can, but I wonder -- do you all ever think about how much time you're asking us to invest in your content? I can read several Substacks in an hour. I can only listen to one, or at most two. I have work and other obligations. So do most other people I know. Do you really think that you're the only video worth watching?? Fwiw, I'm posting similar comments on other Substacks I follow, so it's not just about you. But seriously -- think about it.
