The defense APPROVED of this slate of jurors. Don't forget that. How was this rigged?

We’ll see how well it works at sentencing…. Take into account all his false accusations made towards the court, its employees, the witnesses, and the fact he has NOT ONE OUNCE of empathy for the people he’s hurt, the motherfucker should get 6 months MINIMUM. Not a day less. I don’t give shit he’s the leading candidate in the Republican Party…. HE IS AN AMERICAN FIRST AND SUBJECT TO THE LAWS AND PENALTYS like the rest of us. The Republicans should’ve shunned him from Day 1. Now they’re all tied to the sinking ship…. With no way to back out now.

Hmm..."Sentencing is set for July 11, which we know both from reports from the courtroom and because Donald Trump Jr. is rage-tweeting about it, saying that since that date is only four days before the GOP convention, “They're not even trying to hide the ELECTION INTERFERENCE!!!!” This overlooks, of course, that likely any date over the next several months is somehow close to an important date in the presidential election calendar."

Guess he forgot this part, "Trump lawyer Todd Blanche is asking for a sentencing date in mid-to-late July." (per Politico in court reporting)

Also find it hilarious(in a a sick, not funny way) all the attention on whether convicted felon tRump can vote. If one vote makes that much difference must be worried about a very close count! Just sayin'...

What’s even sicker is the GOP politicians publicly and loudly commenting that this is ALL Biden’s doing….. Biden didn’t sleep with an adult movie star and didn’t try to pay people to hide the fact…

Thanks for reminding all of us that Blanche asked for a mid July sentencing date 😊

As for voting in Florida, Floridians were excited to think their draconian voting laws were at least going to also impede convicted felon DJT. Sadly he’s got a way around even that.

Amen. This man is an utter disgrace to the office. I’m not a GIGANTIC Joe fan…. But I’ll take him 10/10 over Donny Jennifer Chump any day.

“However, Vance is the DA who didn’t seem to have the appetite to pursue this case, and his successor, Alvin Bragg, made it happen. “

Excuse me, check your facts.

Vance previously had no appetite for prosecuting Trump (see Trump Soho.). But Vance DID start an investigation into Trump’s business fraud. And the investigation resulted in the conviction of the Trump Corp & Trump payroll for fraud. But due to Trump appealing to scotus & Vance not running for reelection, the trial took place while Bragg was in office.

Ditto this business records case. The investigation started while Vance was DA. He deferred the decision to prosecute to his successor. And you might recall the uproar when it appeared that Bragg *wasn’t* going to prosecute.

Cy Vance had an opportunity to prosecute Jared & Ivanka for fraud & dropped the case after getting a campaign donation from one of trump’s attys. He clearly does not have an appetite to do anything about trump/trump family. https://www.propublica.org/article/ivanka-donald-trump-jr-close-to-being-charged-felony-fraud

"It’s almost impossible to overstate how weird it is to write about the former president of the United States being convicted of 34 counts of falsifying business records."

Also, how weird it is that the entire elected GOP plus all his supporters still support him, and we have scores of upside down flags being raised throughout the country.

Every time they say we're in a "banana republic" I want to scream. In an actual banana republic the leader can commit crimes with abandon, treat the country and people however he wants, and NOTHING HAPPENS to him. The fact that trump was charged, indicted by a grand jury, prosecuted in a trial, and found guilty by his peers is the exact opposite of a banana republic.
