Thanks for this piece!

Trump has to have Dobbs around his neck like a millstone. Don’t forget what he told Chris Matthews: ‘there has to be punishment’ for women. R’s wanted to fundraise on this, not have to deal with it! The dog caught the car! All yours!

Trump is guaranteed to waffle on the Dobbs issue the next time he’s asked about it. I don’t think he will remember what he said before.

We should absolutely CRUCIFY Trump and the Republican Party on Women's Bodily Choice—because that's what they're into anyway, right?

Trump will keep vacillating on the topic because honestly, I doubt he has a strong opinion on it one way or the other. I remember a bit of 2016 Election posting that shows a smug Trump saying to Hillary Rodham Clinton, "When it comes to abortion, I'm more progressive than you!" And at that time that was true, so far as it went—Hillary at that point suggested a "dialogue" with the Right about abortion...as if ANY dialogue that didn't begin or end with "You don't want an abortion? Don't have one—end of story, you Pharisees and Hypocrites" was at all valid! (Don't forget, Hypocrites are the one group of people even JESUS CHRIST Himself couldn't forgive, only condemn.)

It would be a pleasure to watch him squirm, if he was capable of shame.

That was an important (and refreshingly normal) moment in the Town Hall debate and it was well worth being made aware of it. I happily pay my subscription to get stuff like this. Well done.

With some luck, this will be the deciding issue this year. And to be honest, this IS the issue, the one that encapsulates Republican willingness to suppress people's rights. There are so many contours to the issue, but it remains the same as I viewed it in my high school years in the late 1980s. I determined then that they would seek fetal personhood, from conception.

I'm afraid it's worse than people think. This ethos holds that fetuses belong to the State, who are simply guarding the miracle that God performed at conception. When able, Republicans will call a Constitutional Convention to establish just that, among other things. Men like Mike Johnson and Josh Hawley have devoted their lives seemingly to this cause.

Any Democrat can beat any gop anywhere if the Democrat hammers on Dobbs all day every day.

6 8 9 months, abort the baby! The man is an idiot, a dangerous idiot. He’ll come up with a number because he’s a numbers guy. Both sides? No one wants to talk to him. He was talked into not aborting one of his children (at least) now everyone else has to follow along. Such a useless waste of oxygen.

I guess he’ll fix this first then he’ll straighten out Putin. Lordy!
