Kamala’s speed team should run an ad on Fox news in rural communities highlighting the danger of RFK jr in those roles to farmers. No chemicals in food? That horse left the barn a long time ago
Every one of these people would be a nightmare. And this is just the tip of the iceberg. There doesn't seem to be an end to the supply of 'deplorables' willing to burn it all down.
Such good writing, albeit filled with so much terrifying information about Trump’s cabinet-to-be…as well as the perfect amount of snark. Thank you for your research and compilation.
I would like to point out that I am getting pretty annoyed with my only access to your talks is through downloading another app onto my phone, which is going to tell me that I need to pay more for memory, a cost I am not eager to take on. So, can you brilliant Substack writers please find another way to share content, that I can still do on my laptop, since I am not buying a Tablet and don't want to add any more apps to my phone. It has already been a 9 month fight with my bank here in Germany because I need an app to use my credit card online, which is the only reason I would be using it anyway, and I am trying to delete other givens that I never use. Still, every talk I want to listen to that is not offered as a webinar on zoom, is requiring me to use this new Substack app, which I am not going to do.
Sorry Linda. The talk is meant to promote Substack's app, so it's part of the deal with this one. I will say that Substack Notes is a pretty great feature if you follow a bunch of writers.
I can see that Substack is wanting to promote its app, but can you not find a way to share it with those of us who do not want to pay for more memory to get a Substack app. I use my phone to take photos or to talk. Otherwise I use other means. In fact I use my laptop for most of my phone conversations. One reason I don't watch things on my phone is because it is too small. Not good for my eyes. So, I am concerned if this is the direction Substack is going because I am not watching things on my phone.
I totally sympathize since at 72 years old, I don't watch or read anything on my phone for the same basic reason - I don't like the small screen. I also realize that this is a financial decision for you. However, I downloaded the app (no additional cost for me) and I've watched a couple of these events. I made the mistake of enabling notifications and then had to figure out how to stop that when the notifications keep appearing on my smart watch. I also hate the way that whichever speaker is on the bottom of the screen has all of the comments scrolling by so fast you can't read them and then there's a heart button that allows a constant stream of hearts going upwards. It's very distracting. I'm a visual person so I need to be looking at something or my mind wanders. But, I also know that this is current and popular and, I remember when I had to sadly give up on Word Perfect (IYNYN) because Microsoft Word was taking over the world, and I had to give up on my cassettes when CDs became dominant. I had to create an account this morning just to be able to use a coupon on a unique product I wanted and even though I unchecked the "Send me emails" box I'm certain that I'll get emails anyway. I've seen some talk that Substack will add the ability to watch and listen to these events on a laptop.
Patricia, I hope Substack does ad that ability to do this on a laptop. I am not paying for more memory by choice. It is a slippery slope that is of continuous disagreement between my 19-year-old daughter and me, who already has a much more powerful, newer and 4 times the memory of my phone and yet wants (me) to pay for extra cloud memory.
I do not want to use the Cloud at all and am limited to what is provided me. I have to clean things up. I am in Germany where my privacy might is better guarded, but I am angry at how this is built into systems. I am going to have to at some point bite the bullet and get myself off of a lot of things I am currently on, transitioning from my working self to my post working self.
I also am visually challenged to see things on the tiny screen. I get absolutely no joy, and I love to enable the close captions, which I cannot read on a small screen either. So, why would I watch something that is more than a minute on such a tiny screen? I would not.
Strangely I also am not a podcast person, although I used to listen to talk radio for hours, and enjoy it in the car. I will watch these interviews via video, and sometimes enjoy the medium if there are some interesting visuals. However, I can just as easily read a transcript. In fact, when not offered a transcript, I generally skip all info that is only presented as a podcast. My older colleagues and I used to complain about the fact that our management wanted us to learn things by video instead of reading about them. With reading you can easily skim, skip the extraneous information, and focus on what you need. Still, I do find videos helpful for changing my printer ink cartridges and things like that. My husband was also very suspicious when my daughter told him that for one of her classes she needs a VPN account. I was going to get one anyway, at some point, but I don't think he should complain when she is studying in Germany where she has no tuition, and a small semester fee, that goes towards very tangible things, like a very small price on her Germany ticket. Her semester fee was 299 €. All materials are provided by the university. Not laptops, paper or such things, but the learning materials they assign. So, getting a VPN number so she can see things that are not accessible in this Zone seems fair to me.
There will be NO JUSTICE under a Trump rule! Yes, I said rule, because that is what it will be ... Rule without end, because Dictators will rule indefinitely - they NEVER give up or in!! Remember that - it will come back to haunt you every day of your life!
Wow, what a scary, horrifying description of Trumps possible cabinet.🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️, so brilliantly written.
If this comes to be, maybe all of you need to pack a bag, and be ready to go before 21. January 2025.
Europe may not be perfect, but still a lot better - at least for now -. We see a big increase in Americans coming to Portugal where I live, nice climate, food and wine, and affordable. Seja bemvindo!
We still need to believe that Kamala will make it to the WH🤞🤞🤞
It's my opinion that Trump won't have to worry about background checks or Senate confirmations. He'll just appoint everyone as acting and they'll keep that designation to infinity, thus avoiding the pesky "rules" and "norms".
have had to stop engaging with all things news & politics, it has been literally been making me sick. I've not read or listened to very much in the past few weeks. I must continue if I want not to be sick. However, I saw this just now, Thursday 1:55pm PST and everyone else in the country should see it too.
Cannon and Bannon, Stephen Miller and RFK, Russ Vought and … Once again a visionary prospective president brings forth the best minds to save America (white hoods voluntary).
OK, since we're fantasizing the Trump cabinet in a presidency that isn't going to happen, here's my contribution to Act 2: The moguls behind the GOP -- who should be distinguished from the Muskox behind Trump -- aren't going to stand for this. A hook is going to come out from Stage Further Right and pull Trump off the stage. A combination of bribery, flattery, and threat will bring now-president Vance around. The moguls' hand-picked cabinet will, of course, be more dangerous than Trump's because more competent. At this point our dreamer -- perhaps Joseph K? -- wakes up sweating and maybe screaming, then realizes that since Kamala Harris is president-elect and the Democrats now control both houses of Congress, this is the nightmare scenario that's been buried in their subconscious for months.
Best Public Notice edition title ever! I visualized it immediately, choking on my coffee. ☕️😂

All foods ARE chemicals, so it’s throughly silly, yeah.

These posts need to emphasize that we can avoid all this American carnage by not voting for Trump. I have seen no articles on a Harris cabinet.
It’s incredibly rare for a presidential candidate to release the names of potential cabinet members. This, as is Trump, an aberration.

Like “fix” the 22nd (no third term) amendment?
I have no reason to believe that Trump will do anything with RFK Jr. Once he has his votes, he will ignore him. The others are a problem.
Oh, I wish. Clever. Two cabinet posts seem typical of two cons believing each other.

Restacked and posted to Facebook. We must get the word out on this disgusting possibility.
