100%. Each has too much at stake for this to be down-to-the-roots real. And it is an engrossing (also just gross) show for us to watch while fascist Christian nationalist Vought coordinates w/ Palantir to use our data in establishing a holistic surveillance state, replacing the ad hoc one we’ve had since Bush 43. Also while masked Proud Boys and J-6 violent offenders are being subsidized by our tax $$ to terrorize, kidnap, and extract for offshore torture undocumented populations, many of whom have become part of our communities and contributed to our formerly stable and growing economy. Plus the captured Roberts court has been stamping its SCOTUS seal of approval to lend a bunch of illegal shit whatever legitimacy they can still fake. So yeah—there are true things about the bitch-off between the 2, but there is too much active disassembly of our republic happening simultaneously for this to be genuine.
