Use only public evidence. Use ALL of his crimes and violations of his oath and abuses of power, and, since he insists on ruling as a"Unitary Executive", with authority comes responsibility. List ALL his crimes, provide ALL the evidence on a site (nice and organized), and reams of paper provided to every senator. Don't act like you are in an actual court room, because Republicans can lie and cheat. Act like a Lawyer on TV or in the movies. SELL the story, not just with graphic video evidence and pictures on a large screen, but also the story of how the pattern proves the crimes, such as the bribes he has both received and extorted (bribes are specifically listed in the constitution as grounds for impeachment). His pardons of all the J6 Insurrectionists (See Amendment 14, section 3), all the laws violated (including the laws he was eventually blocked from continuing to break), His first two impeachments, each ignored by Republicans, first for being 'too close to his re-election and the other for being after he was out of office, so now he is neither, so yes - Jan 6, all the abuses of power, and keep hammering in, it SHOULD only take ONE of these to force his removal from office as unfit to serve, and that if he is convicted of even one, he can be charged in court for them all.
Trump will ignore congress, pretty much like he does now. Trump will veto everything he can. Trump will refuse to cooperate with Investigations (which will take too long, will be boring and ignored, and Republicans will turn into a farce, selling their version to Fox). So might as well do what the voters wanted - REMOVE TRUMP. Build credibility for 2028 election. Establish a rule for the Senate Trial, that each Senator is given one unique token, to deposit in the glass jar (under constant video surveilance) and that as soon as the magic number of Senators (67) he is convicted. The prosecution continues until he is convicted. It is NOT a 'legal' Trial by court rules. If they spend a month or two and still not enough Senators voting guilty, the defense can present, but they will have a board that will keep track of ALL the charges made, and the defense will be summarized.
Trumps Defense will be broad, shallow, not to the point, focused on loopholes, lies and BS, just like the previous two times, because he is guilty.
Democrats will need to play to the audience, the voters, the public. The Republican Senators will vote out of fear. Fear of Trump's base, fear of losing their power. Make them fear their voters. Show the faces and names and state of each Senator as they hear the evidence proving Trump's guilt, and a website where they can find how to send emails to their Senator.
In other words, play hardball, change the rules, play to win. There is NO question that Trump is guilty as hell. The only question is, can we convince enough voters of it so that their senators will finally vote to convict. At the very least, the people will see we TRIED, and that we did not bore them.
By the way, all those investigations, sure, you can still do them, in the House of Representatives.

If Americans repeatedly find themselves choosing between two candidates they dislike, who is responsible for producing those choices?
The voters? The parties? The electoral system?
And if the parties consistently produce poor choices, why don't Americans create better parties? They are legally allowed to.
Why don't successful alternative parties emerge? Is it because virtually every meaningful political idea in America can really be represented by two parties — or because the political system makes alternatives extraordinarily difficult to turn into power?
Trump himself did not create an alternative. He captured one of the two existing parties. So perhaps the interesting question is not simply why America produced Trump, but why dissatisfaction with the political establishment had to express itself through Trump.
Then comes the deeper question: why don't Americans change the system? And how democratic is that system in the first place? Does every American citizen have equal political representation?
If political inequality is written into the Constitution, does that make it democratically equal And if changing that arrangement requires the consent of the states that benefit from it, does that solve the problem — or entrench it?
And if the people dislike the results but cannot realistically create competitive alternatives, cannot give themselves equal representation without overcoming institutions that benefit from the inequality, and repeatedly receive choices they consider unsatisfactory, what exactly do we mean when we say that "the American people chose"?
Perhaps they did choose. But chose from what? Produced by whom? Under what rules? And with what realistic ability to change those rules?

Now suppose Trump disappears tomorrow.
Does the two-party structure disappear?
Does the Electoral College disappear?
Does unequal Senate representation disappear?
Does the political machinery that produced Trump disappear?
If not, why are we talking as though Trump himself is the disease?
