Let's not forget about Katie Johnson lawsuit that says Trump rapid her at Epstein house when she was 14

I wish the victims would produce a list of ALL of the men. We need to know the breadth of this thing and be sure people are held accountable.

Forgive me for a correction... *rifts rather than riffs in the MAGA coalition

I'm inclined to wonder if the Epstein files contain something truly hideous given the inept and damaging stone walling of the Trump adminstration. Then again perhaps it's just stupidity. They might not have realized that it would be better to release everything and get the whole thing over rather than have the damage extend over and over and over. Stupidity or something spectacularly evil? Both make sense.

I get where you’re coming from… “don’t ascribe to malice that which is equally explained by stupidity.”

I think we underestimate these people at our own peril.

Trump has been a shrewd operator for years but his manner causes us to question his ability.

The MAGA admin counts on us assuming that they’re incompetent and we should not be falling for their theatre.

Yes, the files contain the hideous history of trump committing crimes with impunity due to his status as an intelligence CI (confidential informant).

The intelligence community KNEW THEY WERE ABUSING CHILDREN and laundering $$millions (billions, perhaps) through a network of transnational organized criminals!!

And they allowed it to keep happening because the information was more important than the children.

Thank you, Noah and Public Notice… this release was most definitely performative. This administration should be very careful… we are not stupid, and we don’t forget. Accountability for all the Epstein players, no matter which party.

Excellent analysis. Thank you.

We need to know the full extent of this thing. What men, where and when and what. Otherwsie, women can assume they will always be less than. The efforts to hide this by top people in our government, the lying, and the relocation of Maxwell, is disturbing beyond words.

The fact that only MTG and Bongino are the only ones who are breaking with the party is really pathetic and I wonder if this sea-change we all are anticipating is just wishful thinking on our part.

They are anti-women. They have shown this time and time again. How they go home to their wives and daughters is dumbfounding.

Don’t forget Massie … but Kim below has it exactly right.

Thank you, Mr. Berlatsky. The major difference here is that djt runs our for former department of justice which is peopled by djt’s private attorneys and there is no one who can force the administration to comply.

I know that in a court trial, you can’t require this, but for many of us:

He needs to show how Epstein was angry that Trump didn’t buy what Epstein was selling.

It seems that a lot of non-attorney individuals are aware of what’s in the Epstein files which makes me wonder why there’s any privilege to be claimed.

It must be REALLY fucking bad for them to dribble it out like this
