Great article. It spoke of the reality of the situation not the NRA $ “myth”

This is one and the same with Rep. Loudermilk’s comments as reported by Seth Abramson. They are fanatical, delusional, and corrupt in their mindset. The only caution I would say is calling it fascism reduces it to a term that is not fully understood by the general public and thus blunts the public’s reaction. The Republican Party has tapped into the fanaticism of a certain segment of the population that believes being American first and foremost means having the right/obligation to revolt against the federal government. Republicans need those votes so do everything they can to preserve this segment’s fanaticism/rabidity/energy. NRA isn’t really necessary because the fanaticism is independent of the organization.
