A Speaker, or any Congressional representative, can be effective or ineffectual on one or several issues. Johnson has hit the trifecta. Worst for this Congress, worst for America, worst in history. A Wikipedia paragraph at best.
Your reference to Johnson being Igor is perfect. It made me think of Mel Brooks Frankenstein, where “Eye-gor” was brilliantly play my Marty Feldman. That’s the closest version to Johnson (except that was comedy while we are living in a tragedy).
The sausage making prevents any legislator from voicing such a succinct and damning recounting of the perfidy and shallowness of Johnson and by association the entire Republican party. If things are to change, we need fighters and truth-tellers. How bad does it have to get before we get more Ossoffs ? Fighting by other means requires more of those who welcome the hatred of the christo-fascists.

My Republican congressman is campaigning on the Big Beautiful Bill, but he has renamed it the taxpayer savings act and is claiming it put thousands more dollars in Americans' pockets. It's fellow Republicans like Rudy Yakym that let Mike Johnson do as he pleases. There is rot within the Republican party, and Johson is a symptom of it.
