And let's not forget all the Republican AGs who sued to overturn the 2020 Presidential election. The Republican Party has learned from Trump that revenge is necessary, even if it flies in the face of the rule of law. But, for the rest of this month, let's all take deep breaths, take walks, be with family and friends, and have some good food and drink.

27 bills. There really needs to be some kind of minimum baseline for actual legislation and the press needs to cover the discrepancy between the amount of legislation states are passing (frequently a lot of terrifying things in red states) and the amount their DC counterparts are at least having votes on. Because most media is letting them get away with not doing their jobs by not mentioning how rarely they actually DO THEIR JOB. They give coverage to other media coverage, they give coverage to social media, public statements, as if THOSE things are the job of legislators. That's not their job but I can even see the confusion they might feel given that it's what gets them attention.
