Like I don’t trust MTG as far as I can throw her, but I will cheer her on in the fight to release the Epstein files. Thanks, Noah. I am scratching my head over this as well. One thing for sure is she plays the part of the foil pretty well. She’s not stupid. More like opportunistic. Let’s keep that in mind.
I think she is simply stating the obvious that Pelosi was a Speaker who kept her caucus in line and got the votes - as opposed to Mike Johnson who is totally incompetent.
MTG is not trustworthy, but her support of both the Epstein files release and ACA subsidies gives us one more vote in the House. I’ll take her vote, but I will never support her.
I think that MTGs only core value is that whatever idea gets her the most attention is the thing she needs to adopt as her belief. That belief can be discarded as needed as long as the new one is popular enough that there is some majority, any majority that is so excited about her take of the moment that they will gaze on her with wonder and addoration and marvel at her wisdom.
Yeah, I think we all pretty much agree Marjorie Taylor Greene suddenly sounding like a Centrist is...kind of insane, and she's untrustworthy as Hell so it's hard to take any of this seriously.
Still, if she wants to vote to release the Epstein files and extend Obamacare? I'll take her vote, sure!
I cannot bring myself into affinity with farmers. They voted for Trump. No doubt farmers would be a lot smarter had they gone to Trump University. Let farmers eat soybeans. Soybeans are a great source of protein.
“All of us who are dismayed by the present state of the union, this is no time to give up,” Biden declared. “It’s time to get up. Get up now, get up.”
If you have become overwhelmed, rely on my 2 buckets to sanity. 2 buckets says stay in the fight. We are winning with a year to midterms. If you stay in, we will shut them down.
Hey, if farmers promoted themselves as incessantly as some commenters on this board, maybe you'd be able to "bring [yourself] into affinity with" them?
The moment someone like Marjorie Taylor Greene starts sounding vaguely coherent, or even “reasonable,” should scare us more than comfort us. It’s less about transformation and more about performance. What you’re describing here feels like a case study in post-policy politics, where myth, media, and presence matter more than ideology or history. I wrote a piece this week about how this same shift showed up in something as banal as a president in the booth during an NFL game, the collapsing line between entertainment and executive power. The more these “moments” feel familiar, the more they rewrite what leadership even looks like.
Democrats should trust her at their own peril. She is and always has been a liar. She is only saying what she thinks will help her with getting more of the moderate vote so she can get reelected. No one does a complete 180 that fast. But then again, we have the Egregious Eight who let us down last night...

She’s definitely a pick-me type.

The crazier Nancy Mace gets, the saner Marge sounds. But yeah—she's not and never will be either trustworthy or on my side of most important issues.
AOC says MTG is on a revenge tour bc Trump nixed her Senate run.

MTG is the average voter.

Thanks for this article. She is a puzzle, but she must have ulterior motives
I didn'tread all of this piece because Marjorie Taylor Greene is not worth my time. She's still a loon and she cannot be trusted.
Looking forward to seeing whatever remains of the so called Epstein files once Congress comes back from their avoidance vacation.
I am laughing so hard at the phrase “deep in the derp”! Brilliant!
