Robert F. Kennedy Jr. can't be embarassed. Like Trump he's a extreme NARCISSIST.

After admitting to snorting drugs off of public toilet seats, performing Boy Scout merit badge level (sorry to all scouts) experimentation on animal corpses and liaisons w/kid rock - I have to agree. He’s immune to embarrassment as well as common sense.

That was informative and depressing. What's wrong with letting apolitical experts run things? I'd have thought health was a pretty technical thing that most people aren't heavily invested in. (Note that vaccines remain popular)...I suppose it all comes down to the bribe that Trump paid Kennedy giving him his position to ensure that he didn't stand and bleed of a very small but politically important part of loony right.

The problem is, I believe, that Donald Trump - O he of bigliest IQ - needs to hire not just the most loyal … but those even dumber than he is.

Which you would think is a problem given that he's one of the most rabidly anti-intellectual people on the goddamn planet, but boy if he doesn't keep finding candidates.

An unerring nose for stink.

That brief allusion to eugenics points to some bigotry folded into Junior’s folderol: Don’t forget he also tried to blame Covid on the Jews and Chinese — two shifty groups that gather clandestinely every Xmas … right before the movie matinee begins.

The day I no longer have to listen to his grating voice, see his bacon colored skin or look into his beady little eyes will be the happiest day of my life. Well, second happiest after the demise of you know who.

"Cassidy...may become a more spineful opponent of Kennedy's homicidal nonsense."

I appreciate the thoughtful and informative review of the healthcare fiasco under Trump. -- it's nice to have it summarized in one place -- but I especially appreciate the gloves coming off, at least for a moment, and stating what is taking place at HHS under Kennedy -- homicide.

Medical misinformation has real consequences, I would refer readers to the on line articles about Kennedy's involvement in the Samoa measles epidemic, commonly written by people who had to deal with its effects first hand. And while not really a Kennedy fiasco, closer to home we saw impact of misinformation on Covid vaccinations first hand: https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2022/01/19/covid-emergency-room-omicron/

As Mr. Berlatsky notes when he writes "homicidal nonsense," people die from this misinformation. Because it doesn't happen all that often, or because it is something likely to occur in the future but doesn't seem to be making current headlines it is easy to see it has "opinions." It is easy to feel the anger and frustration of being witness to the fantastical stupidity of it and express in any number of ways -- e.g. writing opinion pieces.

But at some point, the question really is: Is this a crime that should be prosecuted?

Well obviously it won't be in Trump world, but like so much of the criminality under Trump, it is a question that the future will face.

In the meantime, it is nice to see someone respecting this misinformation for what it is.

I wrote him prior to the vote on rfk, doctor to doctor, reminding him of our Hippocratic Oath and that voting for rfk would be breaking his Oath. No response. I wrote him after the vote, telling him how disgusted I was about his action. I wrote him again, after the measles outbreak in SC, telling him what an idiot he had been when rfk lied to him under oath in the hearings that he would support vaccines and Cassidy believed him. He finally backed off a tiny bit, and the outcome of that is obvious.

Don't worry, beyond nicotine there are also the variety of peptides that Kennedy and others want to prick themselves with, and allow wider dissemination and distribution to a vulnerable public. Poorly vetted beyond anecdotal social media accounting. Produced in illegal or less regulated foreign facilities, imported and sold by individuals hiding behind LLCs. These are the same people who eschew "the jab" with proven vaccines, to inject themselves daily or weekly with unvetted meds from unvetted supply chains. It is not enough the meds are labeled "Experimental use only. Not for human consumption".

Wow I didn't know about this! I need to catch up!

That's worrisome for younger, more impressionable people, the very ones sucking on fruit-flavored vapes.

One has to wonder whether a major goal of this administration is to kill as many Americans as possible. Just look at their policies and the gutting of EVERYTHING that promotes health. All that is left is involving us in a civil and/or world war.

TL;DR: Public Notice work needs to be preserved. Is there a backup plan in case platforms are compromised? If not, I bet others would pitch in to assist (including me). ❤️

When the next administration gains power, to regain the trust of the American people and, importantly for national security and economic recovery, for example, to regain the trust and rebuild relationships with our global allies — the new administration must hold everyone in this administration accountable.

Thoroughly. Forcefully. Swiftly.

Failure to do this will have negative impacts perhaps even as damaging as what Trump, the Heritage Foundation (Vought, Carr, Miller, Leavitt, et al), JFK Jr, Todd Blanche, the rest of the Cabinet (current *and* former), DOGE, advisors staffed or “volunteer” (e.g., Bannon, Jared Kushner), and all political appointees placed throughout every agency have been doing to our country and our country’s standing in the world view.

Aaron and the Public Notice team have been diligently reporting on many of the offenders, with articles and screen clips providing evidence of their malfeasance and, in many cases, unconstitutional and perhaps even criminal offenses.

With our MSM media either becoming sanctioned by the state, bought and controlled by state allies, or simply overwhelmed with the deluge of malignant administration activity, which is by design (i.e., flood the zone), ensuring the preservation of historical records of public notice publications on all platforms becomes vital. As the end for this corrupt regime comes near — and one way or another it will — the offenders will become desperate and willing to take even further drastic action to protect their power, their immense wealth, and for many of them, their liberty.

The first thing I think we can do is encourage as many others as possible to subscribe as a paid supporter. Economy is horrible and not showing signs of improvement anytime soon (which I sadly worry is also by design; lack of resources limits our actions), so this is not going to be possible for many, and that’s ok. Encouraging others to subscribe even at the free tier will allow more Americans to be informed with actual trustworthy reporting.

For those that can subscribe to support the Public Notice team — the second thing I’ve thought about something we might need to do is somehow ensure everything the team has posted on various platforms is preserved — no matter what happens with those platforms.

In other words, Aaron, if you read this — what happens if Substack, Bluesky and other platforms are forced to censor, or delete, or shut down and purge content.

Am I being needlessly long-winded because I’m procrastinating from working on a project I don’t want to do today? ;) I hope so! Am I being paranoid because this administration makes me question my sanity sometimes? I also hope so!

But if I’m not — Aaron and Public Notice are not unknown to this administration and their “influencers” on X and other platforms. Something tells me they’d be at the top of the list for the “Digital Burn Order.” Something to think about, and I bet some supporters would be glad to assist however possible — I raise my hand amongst them.

If anyone read all this thanks! And hope everyone has a pleasant holiday weekend here in the U.S

Excerpt:

"The turmoil at the FDA is a sign of the administration’s deeply unserious and incoherent approach to public health. That is not, obviously, something to celebrate."

The President feels great when he is surrounded by incompetence. He may not be aware of that, but that is why he has picked these incompetent s-bags for his cabinet. They give him a warm and fuzzy feeling, cause they are on his level - except not as cruel and ruthless. And should something go wrong with them he can still fire them. But until then, they are of the same spirit animal as he is.

There will be no triumphant howl when the evll MAHA and MAGA forces burn out - because they burnt us with them.

(PS.: That is also why the Trump voters we are not allowed to disparage for their lack of information, curiosity and understanding, feel so good about him. He is on their level - stumbling along through life uttering half complete sentences and guided by quarter-complete thoughts. Only difference - only a fraction of them is deeply evil.)
