Most voters are also unaware that CDC not only detects diseases before they become a public health threat, but their data accumulation also helps to identify disease vectors that can lead to epidemiological research that might reduce future human exposure to things like cyclosporia - Trump's favorite food? Depending on the study, Narcissistic Personality Disorder affects up to 6% of the population. It is clear that the current administration has become day care for this disorder. They charm people at first, then they use them as tools to attempt to fill their hollowness. The seriousness of this disease is underrated; historically, all the dictators and their minions have had it, and the devastation they have caused is immeasurable. The so called Goldwater Rule, not publicly diagnosing politicians, has had disastrous consequences. Bandy X. Lee, a forensic psychiatrist, and her associates called bullshit on this in her book The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump containing essays by 27 psychiatrists (and in her follow up book).
Frankly if the USA gets to the end of this administration's term with only unnecessary harm from measles, (proper) influenza and now cyclosporaisis it will be lucky. All of the Senators who voted for Kennedy's confirmation should retire in ignomony. This disaster (and probably more incoming) was totally predictable but they were to WEAK too put the Health of the nation first.
For those that take medication to manage Ulcerative colitis, this is very scary. Contracting cyclosporiasis can cause their medication to stop working and take them out of remission. My husband suffers from this condition and we are so upset that this administration can’t leave our robust public health system in tact. They have such disdain for science and medicine
