Hmm. It seems that corruption isn't limited to the oval office. But corruption in the administration of justice is amongst the worst sort of corruption that aflict a country.

And utter incompetence.

Don't knock this regime's incompetence David! I think it's a shabby but effective shield that has protected us against their evil plans and desires. Things would be much worse if this regime was competent!

Indeed … but for us yet unindicted.

This is exactly what I pay for; clear explainer of incomprehensible events that no-one explains on social media. So useful!

Please don't read this as just another example of same crap, different day. The corruption permeating every level matters. We need to remember it doesn't have to be like this. We need to believe that

I agree with your sentiments, Elizabeth but if corruption is to be politely called crap we do indeed seem to be facing the same crap in all manner of different days! Most of us know it doesn't have to be like this. A fish goes rotten from the head and the rotten head of the fish that is the US government is why we are in our present state. Until this government's term is up there is only so much that can be done about it.

The prosecution attorneys involved in this corruption need to be sanctioned and disbarred.

Just one of many, Joyce Vance has a write up today about Kilmar Abrego. Another big loss for Baron Von Shitzhispant's department of injustice.

It would be comic - children dressing up and clopping about in daddy’s too-large Florsheim’s - were it not so pathetic … and amateur.

boy, does it make you wonder what the grand jury heard in the Comey indictment over the seashells.

I just did a quick search for Sheri Mecklenburg and credentials. Noting this: "she drafted legislation protecting free speech in mass demonstrations..." What the hell happened to Ms. Mecklenburg? Was this prosecutorial misconduct worth the hit to her prior history, integrity, and credibility?

The Richard J. Phelan Public Service Award

In her 19 years as a public servant, Sheri Mecklenburg has gone above and beyond to improve the justice system. Sheri began with the City of Chicago Law Department, followed by an appointment as General Counsel for the Chicago Police Department, where she drafted legislation protecting free speech in mass demonstrations and the nation’s first Witness Rights Policy. In 2007, Sheri founded the Women’s DNA Initiative to address a backlog of untested rape kits and drafted legislation to ensure that future backlogs are not overlooked. Sheri currently works with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, where in addition to being a dedicated trial attorney, she continues to be involved in a variety of initiatives to improve the court system and the community. She currently serves as President of the Board of Directors for the Federal Bar Association’s Chicago Chapter.
