Yeah Mike. It was a really, really good night. I thought I might live to see Texas go purple in time, but I never, never thought I'd see Kansas and South Carolina elect Democrat Senators. And it has to be a better than 50.0% chance that Mississippi will elect a BLACK (!!) DEMOCRAT (!!!!!) senator.
I haven't felt this hopeful, politically speaking, since the day Nixon left office. We all know what's happened since then. If you are unfortunate enough to have personally experienced the dissolution of the middle class as I have, don't settle for anything less than a realignment of our political and economic systems. Here in Colorado, it looks like Bobo the Clown, aka Lauren Boebert, has lost her seat in the House to retired rear admiral Eileen Laubacher. In 2024 she fled to the most red district in Colorado so she could be reelected. Bobo is the one who co-sponsored a bill to designate the AR-15 as the National Gun of the United States, was caught groping and vaping with her date at a performance of Beetlejuice, and, on and on. How satisfying.
